Steps
- Open a Smart Market Report and search a market.
- Click the Focus Mode tab on the chart.
- Green line = home price appreciation (what prices did). Orange line = Market Outlook score (looks about a year ahead).
Reading the Market Outlook score
| Score | What it suggests |
|---|---|
| Above 70 | A strong or strengthening market |
| 30–70, stable | Current conditions likely to continue |
| 30–70, trending up / down | Possibly improving / possibly weakening |
| Below 30 | New or continued weakness |
Tip: Direction matters as much as the number. Watch whether the orange line is turning before the green one does.
